Project Timothy, a group of young adult interns serving in the Diocese of Sioux City, came to visit Divine Mercy Parish yesterday!
They spent some time with Bear Care at Seton Grade School playing outside and joining in on their centers after lunch. The office staff provided lunch, where we were able to enjoy their company and hear about what they have been up to this summer. Then, they finished the day with manual labor with parishioner, Brian Schiltz, and our Director of Operations, Dave Wieland. They pulled weeds and did some landscaping around St. Cecelia Church and the Parish Office. They did an awesome job!
We were so blessed to have them visit and grateful that they were able to show the young children what great models of faith look like in everyday life. Please pray for them as they continue their ministry around the diocese and as they discern their futures!
