The Holy Eucharist is the source and summit of our Catholic faith (Lumen Gentium 11). It is the central sacrament of the Church that God feeds His people with grace, and at the same time, that which all other sacraments and devotion lead us back to. Through the priest's prayer at Mass by the power of the Holy Spirit, bread and wine become the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ.
Adoring the Holy Eucharist outside the celebration of Mass has been a devotion spanning many centuries. Numerous saints have prayed before Jesus this way. Be with the Lord exposed in the monstrance at one of the times below, or simply stop in at a church in front of the tabernacle anytime during the day.
